Although in most shows or series filmed in New Orleans, the casting directors are quick to represent the correct racial makeup of the city, unlike “Seinfeld” which managed to get through an entire 8 seasons without representing the extreme diversity of midtown New York City. I will explain to you how to do a cleansing of your home or workplace. By “cleansing”, I mean clearing away all the negative energies and malevolent spirits that may be hanging around. You may not realize it, but everytime you become angry, sad, upset, frustrated, etc… It creates bad vibes and energy all around your home and/or workplace. Evil spirits will be attracted to such energy and they will sometimes come around to “feed” on the negative energy. It will only make things worse for you. Many people call such entities “psychic vampires” and they are known to feed on the negative energy you put out, and the more they get a taste of it, the more they will begin attacking you. This will leave you feeling tired, ill, depressed, and it will also suppress your manifesting abilities.
Of course you could always hire an expert healer or priest to cleanse your home or workplace for you, but you might as well try to learn how yourself first.
1. Pray to your God, Angel, or Higher Self to protect you and to guide you.
2. Visualize a bright light coming from the heavens and surrounding you like a bubble.
3. Spend a few minutes meditating and visualizing on the light.
4. Stand and face the East. Breath slowly. Put your palms forward and close your eyes. Visualize that light coming through your hands and moving toward eternity. Say “I now remove all blockages and evil spirits on the eastern path. With this light, I cleanse. With this light, I heal.” Try feeling the light coming from your hands. You may feel a tingle or “fuzzy” feeling.
5. Turn and face South. Repeat for a minute (only this time visualize the light heading out toward the South).
6. Stand and face the West. Repeat for a minute.
7. Stand and face the North. Repeat for a minute.
8. Turn back toward the East. Visualize the light coming down into you from the heavens, and stretching from you toward all directions.
9. Don’t forget to thank your God, Angel, or Higher Self for sending you the healing light.
10. Now laugh. I’m serious. Go do something that you will truly enjoy and that makes you laugh. Laughter is the greatest medicine, therefore it’s a great way to send out high vibrations. By doing or watching something that makes you laugh, right after the cleansing, it will help you get back into a more positive pattern.

I am in the process of making some hurting decisions to eliminate toxic relationships. I have realized that there are certain people that are close to me, that truly bring out the worse in me. I had to realize that some of these people unfortunately may not want me to succeed in life. The reason is because of evil and negative spiritual forces that may come up against you. I believe that is what’s happening to me. It hurts but I’m sure there are some of you out there that are struggling with this same issues.
I’m currently reading this great E-Book called Psychic Shield and it definitely gives you the tools to fight off those spiritual attacks that are meant for harm to you. I have learned to stop telling all of my personal issues and what I have accomplished in life and even my future goals to the wrong people. Not everyone wants you to succeed. They rather for you to stay in that negative place along with them. Some rather for you to lose your tempers and cause chaos in life, suffer from depression, and having a negative complaining spirit. Most want you to play the victim mentality with them and if they see you trying to step out of the boat and try to be different the jealousy and evilness will start and they will attack to keep you in your place. We all have to watch out for these spiritual vampires that want to suck the life out of you. I noticed for me when I choose to give people my power by trying to throw a fit and losing my temper after I have been happy about an accomplishment I just made I have noticed people thrive over that because they know they have emotionally drained me and they know that you have fell in a depression state. That’s when they know they have accomplished their evil motive. I never realized that until I read this book. Spirituality is something that I’m trying to get into and I’m enjoying every bit of it because I’m learning more about myself.
It’s sad to say and hard to admit that family members will not always accept your new lifestyle. Some may not want you to live for the better because they never had the courage to go out and make something of themselves. They are only comfortable in misery and familiarity. Some so called friends are the same. When you want to celebrate something that you accomplish they never want to be around you but when you are miserable and depressed they are right there to make sure you stay in that. It gives negative family members and so called friends something to gossip about. Family members that are toxic love to gossip and discuss how you will never change. They love to see you have set backs, and negative obstacles that you can’t overcome quickly. The same for those so called friends.
I know from my personal experience my family never recognizes the positive forces in my life. They mainly focus on my negative issues and what mistakes I make. That is something I have to accept because I can’t change who they are. I can only change myself. They enjoy the negative gossip about me maybe losing my temper and having some negative problems that I’m working through. Some in my family I’m not able to talk to about certain issues. We have nothing in common anymore unless I go back to my old and negative life of destruction.
I have realized how to deal with toxic family members and toxic friendships who want to always throw their negative energy is by completly eliminating certain people out of your life or keeping strict and limited time with these certain individuals. We all know how to set our limits and another thing is just by being positive as you can and not letting them see you in negative place for a very long time. Positivity always overrides the negative even if you have to fake it for awhile. Keep this in mind when they see that you are to happy they will try to bring you back down to their level because they refused to stay in the boat by themselves. You have to be strong enough to press through it and after awhile that negative spirit will get thrown right back in their face. Those are some valuable lessons I have learned and now I’m applying these few principles to my own life.

Also, Beverly Hills 90210, the highly popular teenage cult show of the 90’s paved way for its 2008 spin-off 90210. It’s apparently an answer to the very popular Gossip Girl. Speaking of which, the makers of the Gossip Girl series are planning a spin-off of their own, and have reportedly spoken to Brittany Snow to play the lead. Almost every new TV show has been branching out from its original series. Even makers of Grey’s Anatomy weren’t left out of the spin-off race. The succeeding series was given the name Private Practice, with a story revolving around Dr Addison Montgomery after she moves to Los Angeles. Looks like big stars aren’t immune to the spin-off success formula either. They are being roped in to heighten show appeal. There’s news that actor Chris O’Donnell has been confirmed for the NCIS spin-off. It isn’t really difficult to guess why most spin-offs work. They are built on an existing platform that’s clicked with an audience, and the script has to just take off from where it’s left. Moreover, the show and the characters that continue have a loyal audience. It’s just a matter of sustaining it with an equally compelling story. Like most parent episodes, the spin-offs are also available easily on Internet TV. So curious followers can catch them online, anytime.

Actually I came into being in 1985 when as a beautiful lady in my prime I got married to a handsome man, with so much prospects; his first name was Government and Surname name, Nigeria. In short you can call him “Government Nigeria.” I was pretty and much sorted after by the high and mighty. But my eye was only on Mr. Nigeria, young, vibrant, rich beyond measure and any woman’s pride. The love was mutual. He had eyes only for me and I him.
He spent his money on me to make sure I looked good. He hovered over me. I was the jewel of his eyes. Then I started giving birth. In no time I had more than 200,000 children depending on me. The children grew up and became wealthy just like me. They were fertile and their productivity high perhaps too high.
They started making money and the money took away my husband’s love. His wealth was no longer enough for him as his sources of wealth dwindled he found the money my children made for me as a good alternative. Soon I became the neglected wife. My husband gave me no money and the money made by my children that was to take care of me, he took away. Though I had capacity to give birth to millions of children, by 1999, 14 years after my blissful wedding to my darling husband I could only boast of 400,000 children well below my capacity of more than 5 million children.
The millions of unborn children who stood outside my birth window desiring a place in my family soon hated me because I could not give them access to the world. They cursed me every day from depriving them the pleasure of living. I begged my husband to stop eating the golden eggs laid by my children to enable me give access to the millions of the unborn willing to come into the world. He ignored, despised and humiliated me.
I felt sad. The young man I married has become distorted by greed beyond measure. He cared for nothing except his pockets. The cries of the many unborn for access to the world fell on his hardened heart.
In 1999, tired of me, my dear husband invited new brides into town and showered them with his love. Accusing me of non performance he decided to divorce me offering me to new suitors. I was happy when many suitors lined up to grab me. I was full of joy knowing that though neglected by the husband of my youth, I was still cherished by strangers who seemed to know my worth more than my husband will ever know.
My joy was complete when Mr. ILL put up a whooping $1.2 billion for my bride price. My joy knew no bounds that I could still be valued this much by a stranger. It was gladdening to my heart and joy to my soul. But my joy was too soon for my husband was not ready to let me go that easy. He who has taken part very actively in the selection of my suitor, suddenly found my suitors unsuitable and undeserving of my love. Accused of different offenses including not being rich enough to buy me, they refused his offer and sent him away poorer and indebted and me, sad and frustrated.
Then my husband embarked on another elaborate pretence. This time he said he was not divorcing me completely but will hand me over to another husband for a while so that I experience what love is on the other side of life. So came Mr. Pentascope, another stranger from a foreign land. He took me in his arms and proceeded to nurse me to health and wealth. But he did not go far before my husband started raising several issues; some genuine, many cooked. The end result was pre determined. Mr. Pentascope had little time to pack his bags out of my house before he was chased out living me totally deflated.
My husband then pretended he wanted me back himself and boasted he can make me the beautiful bride that I once was. He pretended to show some love but it was all pretence as his intent was clear, to rape and humiliate me further. Soon it was obvious to all and sundry that my husband’s love for me did not go beyond the money that he made from being my husband. His continuing milking of me and my children soon resulted in critical decimation of the family. From over 400 children, soon I had none to boast off. My children had all changed their maternity to new brides in town, like MTN, Globacom, Zain and many others. They were now the preferred mothers.
I was now a burden to him. My milk was dry and actually depended on him for sustenance. Seeing how bad the situation is, he quickly arranged a new suitor. This time the suitor was not completely a stranger. His name was Trancorp. He came like a knight in shining armor promising me paradise with honey and milk. He promised a new life with lots of love. I dared to wish. But alas again I rejoiced too early.
It did not take too long for my husband to find the right excuse to send my new love packing once more. Passed between three suitors and my husband in ten years, I have little love left. I am weak and broken, raped and depleted, rejected and cursed. My husband does not want me because I am now a liability but at the same he cannot stand another suitor having me.
Now am back in my husband’s arms once more. I am not deceived. He does not love me. His cronies are all over examining my weak bones and innards looking for what drops of blood to suck. Like vultures and hyenas, they are scavenging looking for the last pieces of meat that can feed their greed and lust. As usual they pretend, they are here to nurse me back to health. They tell the world how they can make me wealthy once more. However, their real agenda is clear, they will pick the meat they can get out of me, and then look for a new set of suitors to pick my carcass.
My only worry remains, when this cycle will end? Who will save me from these vampires of fortune?

Perhaps, one reason for their continued popularity is Mattel’s strategy of adapting the Barbie toys to contemporary settings. For example, the toy company has decided to release Barbie dolls representing the main characters of the book and movie “Twilight,” Bella and Edward.
These Twilight Barbies faithfully depict the innocent face and long brunette hair of Bella and the strong jaw line of Edward. It is also claimed that the glow on Edward’s face that is indicative of his status as a vampire is also evident on the male doll.
Both dolls are scheduled to be released on November 1, 2009 and will be priced at $24.95. However, some have questioned whether children should be allowed to play with these Twilight Barbies. First of all, Twilight fans are teenagers and young adults. For some, dolls are no longer fit for these ages. Nevertheless, some teens and young adults continue to play with dolls although the emotional and psychological effects are different.
Secondly, the theme of Twilight is not appropriate for young kids because they are better suited to teens and young adults. Thus, children may not be able to identify with the Twilight Barbies unlike the other Barbie dolls that are based on fairy tales. The kids are likely to find that it is difficult for them to incorporate the characters of Edward and Bella into the imaginary world that they enter when playing with dolls.

Secrets. Everyone has them. Well I have one… and its big. I will tell you it. That is if you can get through this story. I won’t make it easy for you. What good would that be? There would be no value in the secret if I were to just blab it out. It may clear a few things up for those of you who are confused. I can just imagine you are saying the words, “I’m not confused” with your inside your head voice. Too funny. Trust in this, confusion wouldn’t know confusion if it bit its lips off. You are confused. That I don’t doubt at all. A cold body is pulled from the river. It hasn’t been in the water for very long. There are no noticeable marks are injuries that would indicate how he died. The police are called and the coroner’s office sends someone to retrieve the body. A young man, maybe twenty-five years old, lays naked on the cold steel table. Several lines have been drawn on his body where the coroner will make his cuts so that he may be able to determine what it was that killed the man. Blood samples have already been sent to a lab for analysis. The police are still trying to find the dead man’s identity. A secret the dead man was not easily going to share. He had no wallet or personal items on his body and the only mark was a fairly recent tattoo. The tattoo, an unusual looking spider about the size of an adult palm and that looked like a large female funnel spider, was located on the dead man’s right calf. It was determined as recent as the area the tattoo was covering was still red and inflamed. Red and inflamed eyes don’t see as well as they should. Too much burning and itching to stay focused on one thing for too long. The secret is not to look in any one area on the road ahead. If you can keep those paining orbs moving, you can squeeze out a few more miles before you have to shut it down. The real danger is closing them but convince yourself that they still are open and it isn’t just a dream that they still see the road ahead. The vibration of the gravel road side on the other side of the road brings home the reality that it was a dream that your eyes were open. The shock of realizing sleep just fooled you brings you to a sharp awareness. Trust me I know, it is the fourth time tonight it has happened to me. Numbness in my head is making it hard to see distinction between real and unreal. There are lights ahead, some sort of rest stop. I believe now is the time to pull over for a spell and catch a few winks. Not too many, got to keep going and I don’t have time for sleep. Why do they light up these rest stops so darn brightly? I have to cover my head with my shirt to block out the light. Seems stupid to me. Now that I have stopped. I might as well use the restroom. That is if it isn’t locked up. Well now, isn’t that my luck, its locked up. I don’t care. I’ll just go around back and do my business there. Odd, there is a ladder stuck in the ground that isn’t up against anything. It just goes up into the night sky. The shadow from the building makes it too difficult to see how high the ladder goes. How unusual. Why the hell is it here? What is it, a ladder to the moon?Yes daddy, if we can find a ladder long enough, we can climb it and eat meatballs on the moon. I really want meatballs daddy. Everyone in my daycare knows the moon is made of meatballs. So can we do it? Yaaaeh daddy! We are going to try to find a ladder. I think if you find two ladders, we can carry one up with us and when we get to the top of the first one, we can then climb the second one. But we have to remember to bring the first one with us when we climb the second one so we can climb that one after we reach the top of the that one. That is how we can climb up to the moon and eat meatballs. And daddy, you are the only one I want to eat moon meatballs with. Because I love you and you love me… And we love meatballs. Party. An odd word for it. Mostly it is like a meatball of people all mashing together and cooking in sauce. Not so much a party as it is a feast of indulgence. And never does it feel worth it when you wake the morning… or afternoon. A feast best not eaten. Better to not be a meatball in my opinion. Last night I was a part of a meatball that left me wondering who I was when I finally did wake. Not my room. Not my car out front. Yet I had keys to both. The clothes on the floor, not mine either. And, a large tattoo of an ugly spider on my calf. It burns like hell to. Where the heck did that come from and what did I do last night? Night is when the spirits range wild. There are places where the spirits are more there then others. In those places, there are people who develop certain sensitivities to the spirits. Odd folk they are. Witch doctors, Shamans, Spirit mediums, Ghost talkers… the list goes on. They often live apart from other people in little shacks or old RVs. People bring them food. Not so much out of care and concern. More out of fear of them and what they may be capable of. Even those who claim they don’t believe in spirits and ghosts still walk quietly around these folk. To anger one is to invite disaster from a plain of existence beyond our control. One such person of powers in the spirit world had an interesting niche. He was an old aboriginal man who was also an artist with down right erie abilities. He could paint pictures that seem to appear in more space then they occupied. Like there was another dimension in what you saw but your brain just couldn’t quite put it all together. He used a kind of ink that wasn’t ink at all. It was made from some sort of plant he grew that was unlike anything found just about anywhere. While he did his art, he would chant in his native tongue at a level barely audible to the ear. A fire was always lit and another kind of plant would be added to the flames producing a smoke that caused hallucinations. One last thing about his art, the pictures he created were alive.Alive or dead? I can’t tell anymore. I exist, that much must be true, but I no longer know how I exist. The line between alive and dead has become blurry. There are places that seem more real then others. There are people that also seem more real then others. My memories of my life have become spotty. I remember being a little boy dreaming of climbing to the moon. But I don’t remember what happen between that boy and the man I became. As a man, I remember a strange lady, how she made me nervous, and group of people who lived to have fun. There are random bits of memory floating around, some of it in clumps that have stuck together. An old man with weathered skin told me he could see inside of me, the tissue that grew in my head. And the story that tissue told him. I remember a rest stop on the road and an old camper on blocks a little ways behind it. I remember being afraid of a spider that was far too big for comfort. Last thing that I remember, and it is crystal clear, all my life I wished to be free of my mortal bonds… to free my spirit. Spirits have troubles with water. Particularly moving water. It is like a wall that can not be passed. Unless a bridge is made for a spirit to cross, it remains stuck and unable to cross. That doesn’t mean a spirit can’t sense what’s on the other side of the water. They can. And some spirits become quite angry when denied access to something they want. An angry spirit causes much trouble. Particularly in the world of the living. That anger makes them grow strong. Stronger then the spirits that are not angry. Anyone who can sense or communicate with the spirit world become blocked by an angry spirit. The angry spirit harasses and torments the spirit mediums until the spirit mediums act to resolve what the cause of anger is of that spirit. There was an angry spirit that plagued an old shaman for a very long period of time. It was stuck on a river edge and could not cross to where it desired to be. The shaman sought the right solution that would rid him of the angry spirit’s tormenting. A man was delivered to him during the night. He could see through the man’s skin and found a perfect host that would act as a ladder to relieve the angry spirits ire… a spider’s bite that carried the spirit’s venom. The spider on my calf burns and when I am not looking at it, it feels like it is moving. When it moves I look quickly to it but it stops as soon as my eyes fall on it. Still, its like those sets of eyes on its large head are starring at me, waiting for me to look away again. It scares the hell out of me. I need to go for a walk. I feel numbness creeping through my body and I am thirsty. Terribly thirsty. There is a door in the back of this room. It leads to a path in the sand. I lurch out of that room, not even caring that I wear not a stitch of clothing. I can smell a river out there somewhere. I want to go to it. Maybe go for a swim and relieve this burning in my leg and wake me from the tiredness that is settling in my bones. I just want to get to that river and nothing is going to stop me. I can hear the sound of humming, like bugs rubbing their wings vigorously. That sound is loud. That sound is becoming my whole world. I stand before a river. It isn’t wide but it looks deep and cold. The humming is becoming shrieking. I cover my ears with my hands as tight as I can, closing my eyes tight and clenching my teeth hard. That sound is still shrieking. Its coming from inside my head. There is a cold wind that chills me to my soul but does not touch the burning in my leg. I fall into the river holding my ears still. I don’t even try to swim. Something big tears into my being. It is hot and angry and it viciously tears my spirit from my body. It ravishes and suffocates me, or is that the river that has filled my lungs. I am dying and I think I am in hell because of the fire I feel. A monstrous thing that looks like a spider roars as it sinks its mandibles deep into my soul. Getting back to my secret. Are you ready for it? I have tried my best to prepare you. Here it is, you are reading the stories of a dead man. That’s it. Not like stories written by people before they died. No. You are reading the story written after I died. I was released from my mortal form and I still exist. Infact, I exist because of your belief that only an alive person can write. You are what keeps me here. I have a body and it is made of words. I have content because of the meaning you invest in the words that are my body. A kind of vampirism. I thrive on your energy that is created by your thoughts as you read my body. A deal made with the devil. I allowed the devil to cross that which held it in check and in return, I exist feeding off you as any story I choose to create. No mortal boundaries do I know. Even after sharing this with you, you will continue to feed me by reading my words… my body. You won’t ever know which stories are just stories and which are me preying upon you. It is brilliant and delicious! That is my secret… and now you know. And it doesn’t matter to me at all. After the busy Christmas shopping season there is still a lot of new movies and music coming out in early 2010. Even some of the big name artists are saving their releases for after Christmas so they don’t have to compete with some of the tough competition. Others like the independent record labels could care less about holiday season and choose to promote their records slowly and put the finishing touches on in time for an after-holiday release. Here are a few anticipated albums coming out in early 2010.
Vampire Weekend – Contra
This contentious and dapper indie-rock band from New York turned heads and set the blogs burning with their indie punk style mixed with African rhymths and upper class lyrical stylings. The hype is building for their sophomore record coming out in January and these guys are hotter than hid lights right now. The second record after the huge success of a debut is often the proving ground for artists so it will be interesting to see how “Contra” turns out.
Hot Chip – One Left Stand
Hot Chip is one of the few truly interesting and, in my opinion, important indie rock bands working today. Where other bands are boring and refuse to admit they are influenced by pop and R&B, Hot Chip embrace their love of top 40 music and inject their own catchy electro styling into it. In a perfect world these guys would be all over the radio and playing huge stadiums but I have a feeling they are perfectly happy where they are at.
Jamie Foxx – Body
Although this is scheduled for a Febuary 2nd release date very little is known about the follow-up to Foxx’s successful “Intuition” record which spawned the enormous radio and club hit “Blame It’ featuring T-Pain. Foxx has recently come out in favor of the new fun, club-oriented direction R&B and rap is getting back into, away from the violence and gun-talk so his new record is sure to have more fun club bangers on it.

Gilmore Girls
One could argue that “Gilmore Girls” set the stage for many of the pop-culture referencing, smarmy, and talky sitcoms and comedy-dramas of the mid 2000s. “Gilmore Girls” was one of the most topical and clever shows on television during its run and started the careers of Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel who have gone on to appear in movies as diverse as “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants,” “Sin City,” and “Bad Santa.” “Gilmore Girls” ran for a respectable seven seasons, eventually following Bledel’s character Rory to college and of course dealt with her mother’s relationship problems both with men and her parents.
7th Heaven
A guilty pleasure, and a favorite show of my religious parents, “7th Heaven” was a family drama about a Protestant minister and his family in California. Like many sitcoms, each episode dealt with a different moral lesson or controversial theme, from alcoholism to pre-marital sex to the dangers of gambling at poker tables. The show eventually courted controversy when actress Jessica Biel attempted to rid herself of her “goody goody” image from portraying Mary Camden on the show posed for provocative pictures in Gear magazine. The writers eventually wrote Mary out of the show but she did return for a few reunion episodes and finales. While you may or may not have agreed with the conservative, often religious messages of “7th Heaven” you had to respect the influence and popularity of the show.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
“Buffy” was another huge success for the WB and has gone on to become a hugely popular cult series with very loyal fans and even academia articles written about it. Both Alyson Hannigan and David Boreanaz are currently starting in hit television shows that they wouldn’t have without their work on “Buffy.” The creator and writer of “Buffy,” Joss Whedon has gone on to direct and write for other television shows like “Angel”, “Firefly” and the most recent, “Dollhouse” starring Eliza Dushku. “Buffy” was known for its clever dialogue and intelligence and for breaking television ground with bisexual plot lines and characters.

First you need to identify your passion and your mission, and then you need to get serious about implementing them in your life. Soon you will be carried aloft by a divine wind, plenty of energy will flow through your being, and you will feel blessed with extraordinary creativity and inspiration, lifting you up to heavenly vibrations.
How do you embark on this journey of enthusiasm, cruising the earthly waters? How can you maintain your balance and prevent falling into the cold waters of depression, emptiness and lack of energy? Follow the steps set out below and join the planetary crew of enthusiasts!
1) Find your passion, your goal in life, the reason why you are alive. This passion should not be linked to one particular person, otherwise you will fall into the water whenever this other person goes away. Your passion is something personal, something inside yourself. Your passion does not depend on anything outside yourself (your lover, your children or your job) to guarantee your happiness! Discover your own unique talents, develop them and offer them to the world. What is it that you are passionate about? What are the activities that boost your energy? What makes you lose track of time? What is it that absorbs your mind so much that you forget about dinner? This is what excites you, and that feeling of excitement is your soul raising its hand, shouting : This way, please! Listen to your soul : follow your excitement.
2) Free yourself of energy vampires, so you can use all of your precious energy to expand and progress. As long as you let yourself be terrorized by your partner, boss, parents, colleagues or children, you will not get very far with your energy. You are merely trying to survive, and survival has nothing to do with enthusiasm! Break with people who are dragging you down and start living it up!
3) Learn to say no to time-consuming, futile activities like arguing with your partner or children, taking care of people who do not want to change their ways anyway, going shopping and preparing warm meals for people who do bot appreciate your efforts, answering phone calls for people that talk down to you, and so on. Pay attention to what activities you spend your time and energy on, separate the wheat from the chaff and break radically with everything that eats up your precious time without offering something in return!
4) Stop trying to save the whole world, but rather start by saving yourself. Is this being egotistic? No, this is called self-love. Stop trying to solve problems of others, but rather concentrate on your own goal and keep moving forward! It is not until you are receiving a lot of energy from your own exciting activities, that you will have a lot to offer to others. Your mere example of living your passion is much more effective towards producing change than endlessly proposing solutions to people who got so stuck in their problems that they do not want to resolve them anyway. You are not responsible for them! But you are responsible for yourself!
5) Stay focused on your goal, on your well-being, on your happiness. Fulfilling your dream is your priority and your guideline for every decision you make. Do not waste time on unimportant details. You do not have to know everything before you can get started, and you do not have to resolve everything before you can move on. You do not have to take your children to the gym everyday yourself; teach them how to take the bus, or set up a schedule to work in shifts with other parents.
6) Find your balance: eat good food, maintain positive energy vibrations, listen to music you enjoy, spend time in nature.Take care of yourself. Nourish yourself with high quality food on all levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual! Every object, every thought, every environment, every person has a certain energy level. You can easily sense this. Learn how to feel the energy moving in your body. Learn how to feel this energy and stay away from people, places or activities that drain your energy. Instead, look for those things that boost your energy up and integrate them into your daily life. Be sensitive for and pay attention to what your body is telling you, and then act accordingly.
7) Be positive. Do not listen to naysayers, naggers, or depressed people. Look on the bright side of life! Hang out with positive people. Read inspiring books. Go for a daily stroll in the park or a walk through the forest. Breath. Fill your body and mind with pure oxygen. Listen to something that motivates you instead of exposing yourself to the endless stream of very-low-energy newscasts telling you how many people got killed today. Put a screensaver on your computer displaying motivational quotes to remind you that it is YOU who is creating your own life from your own mindset! Write motivational texts on flashcards and stick them on your dashboard, computer, doors, fridge, bed, table, everywhere!
Love, love, love, and then love some more! Love your children, your cat, your dog, your mother and father, your mother-in-law (if possible, just kidding), your garden, your nose, your belly, your street, your neighbors, your house, your town, your everything! Love is the highest energy vibration we can feel. Do not wait around for love to come into your life! Make love happen yourself! Be the love that you are looking for. Love, and you will be loved!
9) Be grateful. Stop complaining about what you do not have. Stop focusing on what is lacking in your life. Instead focus on what you do have. Be grateful and say thank you to those around you. Say thank you to the Universe. Look at what you already have right now: what do you already possess, who already loves you, what skills do you have already? Express gratitude for these, and more of it will come to you. Focusing on something makes it bigger, because you are feeding it with energy. So focus on what you want and do not focus on what you do not want. The best way to receive more of what you want, is to be sincerely grateful for what you have already.
10) Give. Be a giver, not a taker. Give freely and generously of your love, your talents, your energy, your knowledge, your charisma, your time to those with whom you have a good energy connection. Using your talents to make this world a better place is the most satisfying activity there is. By offering your talents to others, you are aligning yourself with your divine life plan and you will be filled with enthusiasm! You will notice that people are happier, more on track, more confident, stronger and healthier after receiving the gift of your talents and support, and this will make you feel so happy and light that you will feel afloat! And this is because your energy vibrations are so high that you are touching divinity! You are floating like an angel! However, be careful when you are giving your energy to energy vampires! You do not have to let yourself bleed for the sake of people who drain you without giving anything in return. Always check to see if the energy is being shared, if it is flowing in both directions. If not, then stop.
Practicing these 10 steps in daily life will make your enthusiasm skyrocket! You will feel heavenly and afloat, just like those other heavenly creatures, the angels. According to Wikipedia, Bram Stoker’s Count Dracula has appeared in more than 200 movies. Serious filmmakers like Francis Ford Coppola and Werner Herzog have used the story of the Transylvanian vampire to explore themes of star-crossed love and eternal life, usually throwing in buckets and buckets of blood into the mix. But where some see tragedy, others see farce. Hence Mel Brooks’ Dracula: Dead and Loving It and now Patrick Nicely’s Dracula: Revamped.
In Nicely’s politically incorrect reimagining, Dracula (Karl Andrew) is a twentyish college student who, after walking the earth for 500 years, just wants to get an education. His roommates, the flamboyant Matt (Riley Wood) and the slovenly Billy (Landen Celano), make a $20 bet over who can pull the meanest prank on Drac. Billy’s stunt is pretty harmless – he dumps a sack full of rice outside Drac’s coffin – while Matt shows a surprisingly cruel streak: He sends Drac to chomp on a cross-dressing prostitute who has AIDS.
Nicely’s dialogue in this scene exemplifies his campy, anything-goes approach to the material. (Dracula: “I came to suck you dry.” Prostitute: “Well, usually I’d make you buy me a drink first, but it’s been a slow month!”) His finest work is with Celano. Mostly, Billy just hangs around the apartment wearing a stained wife-beater and eating a bucket of chicken. The only time we see him out of his element is when he executes a brilliant plan to cure Drac of AIDs, and orders the count into a cave to beat off. The guy is such an irredeemable ogre that you wonder how he and Matt ever came to be roommates. I mean, wouldn’t Matt at least want to do some interior decorating?
Dracula: Revamped has some gaps in logic – if Drac is allergic to the sun, then how does he get to class? But, like Napoleon Dynamite, this is a comedy that benefits from its rough edges. Nicely’s overall point is that even a bloodthirsty vampire would be shocked by today’s mook culture, epitomized by shows like “Jackass” and “Family Guy.” Look at the bored reaction shots of Matt and Billy as Drac pours his heart out to them. These are priceless examples of the modern male malaise.
